It is reported that Xu (dealt with separately) was preparing to develop the "Mobius" project, which involves the issuance and promotion of MBUS (Mobius) virtual currency, card games, etc. Several people requested participants to purchase and hold MBUS coins, NFT cards, and MSS coins under the guise of investing in virtual currency and derivative projects, actively developing downstream personnel through "recruiting". The total amount of property defrauded from participants exceeded 964,300 USDT (1 USDT is approximately equal to 1 US dollar, equivalent to approximately 6.39 million yuan). After the case was discovered, the wallet address records of MBUS coin holders were identified, with a total recommended level of 48 levels. Seven individuals involved in the case, including Li, Xiang, and Huang, were sentenced to two to three years in prison and fined, with suspended sentences.
