Analysis: Since the launch of OpenGov, the participation in Polkadot governance by DOT holders has gradually increased
According to Dune data, the number of votes involved in Polkadot's governance each month tends to be high. When governance activity is low, the number of DOTs voted represents about 32.65% of the total supply. This proportion can reach up to 65.30% when governance activity is high.
Although this data represents the total monthly voting volume (including repeated use of DOT), not the unique participation of DOT per month, it also reflects to a certain extent that since the launch of OpenGov, the participation in governance by DOT holders has been gradually increasing.
