According to media reports, U.S. Treasury Secretary Yellen has sent a letter to the leadership of the U.S. Congress regarding the debt ceiling issue, urging Congress to take action to protect the credibility of the U.S. government. Yellen is expected to initiate extraordinary measures from January 14th to 23rd and stated that the Treasury may reach a new debt ceiling between January 14th and 23rd.
