Google bets on Gemini AI in 2025, aiming for 500 million monthly active users
According to foreign media reports, Google has clarified its core plan for 2025 at an internal strategy meeting, designating Gemini AI as a key development focus. CEO Sundar Pichai stated that Google plans to accelerate the expansion of Gemini with the aim of it becoming the 16th Google product with over 500 million monthly active users. DeepMind co-founder Demis Hassabis revealed that Gemini will "expand massively" within the next one or two years, achieving cross-device and multimodal upgrades. It is committed to providing more powerful general AI assistant functions to help Google maintain its leading position in the fierce AI competition.
