Wormhole Foundation: FEG token issues have nothing to do with Wormhole
the Wormhole Foundation stated on social media that the FEG token issue has nothing to do with Wormhole. All Wormhole contracts are completely unaffected by this issue and are not related to it.
Previously, on December 29th, the multi-chain DeFi protocol FEG (Feed Every Gorilla) announced on X platform that FEGrox is actively investigating improper transactions and has requested additional support from PeckShield to identify the root cause. Preliminary investigations show that there may be vulnerabilities in the Wormhole bridge, which have previously been audited. It should also be emphasized that the SmartDeFi contract code does not seem to have been compromised, and the SmartDeFi protocol has been suspended as a preventive measure. Projects built on this protocol are still safe at present.
