US-listed Bitcoin mining companies accounted for 25.3% of global computing power in December
U.S.-listed Bitcoin mining companies will account for 25.3% of global computing power in December 2024. The report states that Bitcoin prices rose 15% in December, a growth rate that exceeded the 6.5% increase in network computing power, resulting in increased mining profitability.
U.S.-listed mining companies mined a total of 3,602 bitcoins in December, up from 3,404 in November. Among them, Marathon produced the highest output of 890 bitcoins, followed by CleanSpark (CLSK) with 668 bitcoins. MARA has the largest installed computing power in the industry at 53.2 EH/s, followed closely by CleanSpark at 39.1 EH/s.
