Particularly notable was the generous donation of $50,000 in Bitcoin from a16z venture capital partner Marc Andreessen to its associated crypto wallet, making Truth Terminal a focal point in the summer of 2024.

Truth Terminal had been trained on internet subcultures and showed a keen interest in the AI-generated satirical religion "Goatse Gospel." This interest led developers to create the meme coin GOAT (Goatseus Maximus) based on the Solana ecosystem. For example, the framework ELIZA developed by ai16z has attracted significant developer engagement on GitHub, as reflected in the growth trend of its repository's stars. Data shows that ai16z's development activity has recently surpassed that of older and more established AI projects like Phidata and LangGraph.

It is evident that AI Agent projects are still in the early stages of development and experimentation, but some have already made significant progress early on.
