US Supreme Court upholds TikTok's "sell or ban" bill
that on January 17th, the US Supreme Court made a decision on the TikTok "sell or ban" law: the relevant provisions did not infringe on the petitioner's First Amendment rights, and the Supreme Court supported this law, requiring TikTok to be divested from its parent company ByteDance Group before the 19th, otherwise it will face a national ban in the United States. Previously, there were reports that US President-elect Trump was considering issuing an executive order after taking office to suspend the TikTok ban for 60 to 90 days.
