According to information shared by cryptocurrency analysis company Arkham Intelligence, a previously unknown wallet address of GCR, one of the legendary traders of the cryptocurrency world, may have been revealed.
According to Onchain data, a $640,000 deposit was made to the Kraken exchange last week from one of GCR’s known cryptocurrency addresses. Interestingly, two other unrelated addresses were deposited to the same deposit address shortly thereafter.
The data shows that the addresses in question were actively trading during the summer of 2023. Among these tokens, a group dominated by memecoins such as HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu, Rollbit and Hamsters stand out.
According to Onchain data, the first address was actively trading mostly in 2023 and the profit rates were as follows:
- RLB: +$750k
- BITCOIN: +390k dollars
- HAMS: +87k dollars
- MOG: +10k dollars
- Azukis: -173.7 ETH
The second cryptocurrency wallet became active in October-November 2024 and made transactions mainly in memecoins such as STFX, SPX and LMEOW. LMEOW was a memecoin inspired by a tweet by GCR in 2023. The profit and loss amounts obtained by the trader from the said altcoins were as follows:
- SPX: +$231k
- STFX: +$227k
- TRUMP: +53 thousand dollars
- LMEOW: +75k dollars
- SHRUB: -360 thousand dollars
