MyTonWallet adds Telegram gifts, crypto payments in latest update
MyTonWallet, a self-custodial wallet for The Open Network blockchain, has released version 3.3.
The update includes a clearer fee display, an upgraded Explore section, improved navigation, support for Telegram gifts, and a new crypto payment tool called MyTonWallet Pay, according to a note shared with crypto.news.
One key enhancement is improved fee transparency. Users can now see a detailed breakdown of transaction costs, including separate exchange rates and swap fees. This update aims to eliminate confusion around blockchain commissions, which can often be difficult to understand.
The redesigned Explore section, now called Explore 2.0, categorizes decentralized applications, making it easier to find services within the TON ( TON ) ecosystem. A new bottom navigation bar allows quick access to the Wallet, Explore, and Settings sections.
Sending gifts and paying with crypto
The update introduces support for Telegram gifts, allowing users to send and manage digital collectibles directly from the wallet. These collectibles feature high-definition animations, a feature unique to MyTonWallet.
Additionally, the new MyTonWallet Pay feature enables crypto payments for online purchases. The wallet’s team is working on early integrations to make it easier for businesses to accept TON-based payments.
