Iran supports the unification of BRICS currency, the United States may impose a 100% tariff in response
According to Bitcoin.com, Iran has expressed support for a unified currency plan by the BRICS nations. The BRICS countries are accelerating their efforts to reduce dependence on the US dollar, and a unified currency could greatly enhance economic ties between member states. Iran stated that it would fully support this plan if other member states agree. In response, former U.S. President Trump threatened to impose 100% tariffs if the BRICS countries continue to advance this plan.
