According to the CME ‘Fed Watch’, the probability of the Federal Reserve to keep interest rates unchanged in March is 97.5%, the probability of cutting interest rates by 25 basis points is 2.5%. The probability of keeping the current interest rate unchanged in May is 86.8%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point cut is 12.9%, and the probability of a cumulative 50 basis point cut is 0.3%.
