The transaction volume of the Bitcoin network has dropped to a low point of nearly 12 months, down 55% from its peak
Odaily Planet Daily reports that data shows the 7-day moving average of Bitcoin network transaction volume has dropped to 330,000 transactions, hovering near a 12-month low. This is a significant decrease of 55% compared to the peak value of 730,000 transactions in the network's history.
The fees generated by Runes in the past 30 days have fallen to less than $20,000, while on its release day Runes generated fees of $60 million. This indicates that market speculation activity has shifted towards other blockchain ecosystems. According to Memepool data, current Bitcoin network transaction fees are temporarily reported at 3 Sats/s.
