Norwegian prosecutors charge four people with $87 million cryptocurrency investment fraud
according to Decrypt, the Norwegian Economic and Environmental Crime Investigation and Prosecution Bureau has filed lawsuits against four Norwegian men, accusing them of committing large-scale investment fraud from March 2015 to November 2018, with a total amount of fraud reaching 963 million Norwegian kroner (approximately 87 million US dollars).
These suspects carried out the fraud by promoting a "product package" containing cryptocurrencies and stocks. The investigation showed that the individuals involved did not actually invest, and their income came entirely from the deposits of the victims.
