BNB Chain announces Pascal hard fork
according to the BNB Chain official blog, BNB Smart Chain will undergo a Pascal hard fork upgrade, planned to be implemented on the testnet on February 25, 2025, with the mainnet upgrade scheduled for mid-March 2025.
This upgrade will enhance compatibility with Ethereum, mainly including support for native smart contract wallets and security encryption upgrades. By integrating EIP-7702, it will achieve functions such as multi-signature support, expenditure limits, and batch transactions; while also introducing BEP-439 (EIP-2537) to support BLS12-381 curve encryption operations.
