SlowMist: A user pretended to be a SlowMist data scientist, and German law enforcement agencies have intervened
SlowMist posted on X platform, stating that its security team received reports from victims, revealing that someone impersonated a SlowMist data scientist and posed as a Web3 recruiter to commit fraud, tricking victims into installing malicious software, leading to the theft of victims' wallets and X accounts. The SlowMist team has launched an investigation and disclosed some known details. Currently, the law enforcement department in Baden-Württemberg, Germany has intervened and advised the fraudsters to immediately return the victims' funds.
