Optimum secures angel round financing, accelerates the launch of a full-chain expansion plan

Optimum announces the completion of its angel round financing. Investors include Abhijeet Mahagaonkar (Polychain CTO), Arthur Cheong (Founder of DeFiance Capital), Gracy Chen (Bitget CEO), Robinson Burkey (Co-founder of Wormhole), Sandeep Nailwal (Co-founder of Polygon) and Saurabh Sharma (Managing Partner at Jump Crypto). The funds raised will be used to accelerate product development, with the specific amount undisclosed.
The project is reportedly co-founded by Professor Muriel Médard, Dean of NEC at MIT's Department of Computer Science, Dr. Kishori Konwar, and Kent Lin, President of Harvard Blockchain Association. It is based on research results from MIT's Institute for Network Coding and Reliable Communication to build a full-chain expansion solution.
Optimum can provide any L1/L2 blockchain and node operators with high-performance memory infrastructure based on Random Linear Network Coding (RLNC). This includes two products: P2P data communication layer and decentralized memory layer(deRAM). This technology aims to break through the bottleneck in blockchain scalability, achieve fast data transmission, efficient storage and real-time access; bringing comprehensive performance improvements for L1/L2 blockchains, node operators, dApp developers and users.
