The U.S. SEC announces the list of members for the encryption working group
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced today the members of its cryptocurrency task force, which will provide advice to the commission on matters related to cryptocurrencies. The task force is composed of members from the Acting Chairman's office and other departments within the commission. SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce stated: "The crypto task force demonstrates deep expertise and a strong commitment, with the help of other excellent staff at the commission and public input, to find feasible solutions for complex cryptocurrency regulatory issues."
