As of this morning, official invitations to Friday's crypto summit at the White House have not been sent out, according to Fox reporter Eleanor Terrett. According to two sources close to the preparations for the conference, the list of participants will be smaller than previously expected and will include industry heavyweights such as Michael Saylor. The conference is expected to have 20-25 participants in a roundtable format, held at the White House, and will include other members of the President's Working Group on Digital Assets (PWG), so the number of invited industry representatives will be Fewer industry representatives will be invited. It's unclear who will be attending beyond Bo Hines and David Sacks. But recalling Trump's executive order, the PWG also includes Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary @howardlutnick, Attorney General @PamBondi, SEC Chairman, CFTC Chairman, and other officials. In addition, a larger, invitation-only reception is in the works at the White House, exclusively for those not invited to the roundtable. All arrangements are still being made in real time and are not yet 100% finalised, so they are still subject to change. But this is the latest I've heard so far.
