JPMorgan: Bitcoin Mining Stock Market Value Down About 22% in February
Bitcoin mining stocks are struggling as the cryptocurrency's falling price further exacerbates a business model under pressure due to the halving of the Bitcoin network in April, according to a research report by JPMorgan Chase. Mining stocks tracked by J.P. Morgan collectively lost 22 per cent of their market capitalisation in February, the report said, as falling bitcoin prices impacted mining profits and prospects.
