Solayer Launches Native SOL Pledge
Solayer has announced that native SOL pledging is now live, allowing users to earn ~12% annualised returns directly without the need for LST (Liquidity Pledge Tokens) or LRT (Liquidity Re-Pledge Tokens).
Solayer says its Mega Validator is the best-performing validation node on Solana, offering the highest returns to sSOL holders and all users. The pledged SOLs will be used to protect Solayer's infiniSVM, a hardware-accelerated blockchain capable of achieving 1 million TPS, with additional rewards. Officially, the advantages of a native pledge include avoiding the accounting complexity of additional tokens, institutional-grade security (no counterparty risk), and additional revenue due to the extra use of the SOL.
