Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek: Bitcoin's long-term return rate has become the new benchmark for high-risk returns
News on March 12, Ohio gubernatorial candidate and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy proposed at the "Bitcoin For America" summit that the return rate of holding Bitcoin for more than ten years has become a new benchmark yield for high risk. He believes that the world is returning to an era of "capital scarcity," which contrasts with the Federal Reserve's massive money printing over the past 15 years. Ramaswamy explained that institutional investors will once again need to consider the issue of "opportunity cost of capital" and determine benchmark yields for low-risk and high-risk investments. He pointed out that the benchmark for low-risk investment is U.S. Treasury bonds with a maturity of 10 years, while the benchmark for high-risk investment is Bitcoin's return rate from 10 to 15 years. “The significance represented by Bitcoin, not only as a financial asset but also helps satisfy people’s desire symbolizing American greatness,” said Ramaswamy, “At a national level, it is a more suitable asset to fill our country’s strategic reserves.”
