Uniswap stablecoin exchange suffers a "sandwich attack", crypto trader loses over $215,000 within 8 seconds
A crypto trader encountered a "sandwich attack" while exchanging stablecoins on Uniswap V3, with MEV (Miner Extractable Value) bots executing trades ahead of him, resulting in losses exceeding $215,000.
Specifically, within just eight seconds, $220,764 worth of $USDC was exchanged for only $5,271 worth of $USDT because the MEV bot successfully cut in line to execute the operation before the trade. (Cointelegraph)
