An Argentinian lawyer, Hayden Davis, co-creator of the LIBRA token, has requested a red notice from Interpol.

The LIBRA scandal, which was revealed in February to be fraudulent and whose team is alleged to have ties to Argentine President Javier Milei, continues.

LIBRA, which received Milei’s support, caused many investors to be victimized. While investors received support from the cryptocurrency sector, an Argentinian lawyer requested a red notice from Interpol for the LIBRA token partner.

Argentinian lawyer Gregorio Dalbon has requested a global arrest warrant for Hayden Davis, co-creator of the LIBRA token that has caused a political scandal in the country.

The lawyer suggested that the LIBRA creator might have obstructed the investigation by leaving the US.

Dalbon submitted his request to the prosecutor and judge investigating President Javier Milei’s connection to the controversial memecoin LIBRA, which reached a market value of $4.5 billion before its collapse.

Dalbon said there was a procedural risk if Davis was not arrested and released because he would have access to large amounts of money that would allow him to flee the United States or go into hiding.

“Davis’ actions from LIBRA’s creation through its collapse and the profits from the founding accounts indicate a possible pattern of behavior aimed at defrauding investors by using his connections to Javier Milei and Karina Milei, high-ranking officials in the Argentine government.

Given the magnitude of the scandal and the significant losses suffered by investors, it is clear that Hayden Mark Davis's continued release carries procedural risk.

His central role in the creation and promotion of the LIBRA cryptocurrency, combined with the international impact of the case, raises the possibility that he will step in to escape the clutches of justice.”

Argentine President Javier Milei has shared many posts about the Solana (SOL)-based LIBRA token. Milei first shared a promotional tweet about the token from his official account, but after the price of the LIBRA token crashed, he deleted his tweet, claiming that he had no connection with the token. He then retweeted a tweet explaining how to buy LIBRA tokens.
