The three major U.S. stock indexes closed collectively lower, the Dow fell 0.62%, the Nasdaq fell 1.71%, the S&P 500 index fell 1.06%, large technology stocks tumbled, Tesla fell more than 5%, Nvidia, Meta, Broadcom fell more than 3%, and Google fell more than 2%.
