Hong Kong listed company EDA Group Holdings plans to spend up to 5 million US dollars to purchase cryptocurrency
The Hong Kong-listed company EDA Group Holdings has released a voluntary announcement, disclosing that the board of directors proposes to carry out a cryptocurrency purchase plan with a total amount not exceeding 5 million US dollars. Currently, the company is exploring blockchain technology to empower the cross-border e-commerce logistics industry and promote traceability of cross-border goods and B2B settlement in cryptocurrency. In addition, EDA Group Holdings announced that it will set up a department specifically responsible for managing and supervising virtual asset business as well as risk control.
