JPMorgan Chase: As tariff policies become clearer, we should stop selling US stocks when prices are high
Morgan Stanley analyst Ilan Benhamou stated that as tariff policies become clearer, some key risks have been alleviated, and it may be time to temporarily pause the popular strategy of selling at high prices in recent weeks. "I think it might be time to change our thinking and pause the sell-high strategy," Benhamou wrote in a report to clients on Monday. He is a member of the bank's equity derivatives sales team. "What the market hated most before was not the arrival of tariffs itself, but that tariffs would cause chaos and disorder."
