The issuance of TRC20-USDT has broken through 66.7 billion, setting a new historical high

Odaily Planet Daily reports the latest news that the issuance of TRC20-USDT has increased to 66.7 billion, setting a new historical high. Since this year, the Tron network has issued nearly 7 billion USDTs in total. As of now, TRC20-USDT accounts for 46% of the total issuance volume of USDT on the entire network, with a number of account holders reaching 63.35 million and over 2.4 billion cumulative transfers made. In addition, NOWPayments, a cryptocurrency payment gateway recently pointed out that TRC20-USDT has become a leading force in the payment field and is widely welcomed.

TRC20-USDT is a stablecoin pegged to USD issued by Tether based on Tron's TRON network; its fast transfer speed and low handling fees have attracted many users and it already has support from multiple exchanges. The use of USDT based on version TRC20 will greatly enhance Tron's existing decentralized application ecosystem bringing higher overall value storage and stronger liquidity for decentralized exchanges while providing more convenient blockchain access for enterprise partners and institutional investors.
