PIMCO: Fed expected to cut rates by 50 bps at a time during the year
Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO) expects the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates by another 50 basis points later this year, and they believe that the Federal Reserve is facing a tricky environment, with the risks of rising inflation and economic slowdown having conflicting effects on the bank's ability to achieve its goal of ‘price stability and full employment’.
