The weekly blob fee for Ethereum reached 3.18 ETH, marking the lowest weekly level since 2025
The main source of income for the Ethereum network from Layer2 expansion chain, "Blob fees", has fallen to its lowest weekly level this year. Etherscan pointed out in a post on platform X that in the week up to March 30th, Ethereum only earned 3.18 ETH (about $6000 calculated at April 1st prices) through Blob fees. This figure is down 73% from the previous week and more than a staggering 95% drop from the peak of 84 ETH during the week of March 16th.
