Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey: If Bitcoin is only a means of value storage, it will face failure
Twitter co-founder and current Block CEO Jack Dorsey said on the "Presidio Bitcoin" podcast that if Bitcoin only becomes a means of value storage, it will fail because the success of Bitcoin comes from payments. However, due to its limited supply, Bitcoin has the potential to become a value store equivalent to gold. This view leads many people not willing to spend their Bitcoins as they hope the value of this asset can continue to grow. But Jack Dorsey pointed out that if Bitcoin does not transition into payments and find everyday use cases, it will eventually deviate from the original intention of the white paper and lead to ultimate failure.
