European Commission President: seeks a “perfectly balanced” deal with US
According to the FT: The European Commission President Von der Leyen has said the EU could impose taxes on large (US) tech companies if trade talks with Trump fail. The EU will seek a ‘fully balanced’ deal with the US within 90 days of Trump's suspension of additional tariffs. We are working on retaliatory measures. In the event of unsatisfactory negotiations, there will be a wide range of countermeasures.
