Privacy blockchain Miden completes $25 million seed round of financing, led by a16z
Miden, a privacy blockchain project co-founded by former Meta engineers, announced the completion of a $25 million seed round of financing on April 29, 2025 Beijing time. It was jointly led by Andreessen Horowitz's encryption department, Hack VC, and 1kx. Finality Capital Partners, Symbolic Capital, and many angel investors in the encryption field also participated. Polygon Labs did not directly invest, but reached an agreement to allocate about 10% of Miden's future token issuance to Polygon token holders. Miden focuses on achieving transaction privacy through zero-knowledge proofs, while also considering the performance and decentralization of the blockchain.
