Roblox says gamers not affected by tariffs, developer community expects revenue to exceed $1 billion
According to Aastocks, the metaverse platform Roblox stated that game players are not affected by tariffs, and it is expected that the seasonal order volume with the lowest in-game spending will be between 52.9-53.6 billion US dollars, compared to the previous forecast of 52-53 billion US dollars. LSEG data shows that Roblox's first-quarter order amount increased by 31% to reach 12.1 billion US dollars, exceeding analysts' expectations of 11.4 billion US dollars. The company's CEO, David Baszucki, stated that the revenue from the Roblox developer community is expected to exceed 10 billion US dollars.
