Wyoming to Issue the First State-Level Stablecoin in the US in July
The Wyoming Stablecoin Commission announced a partnership with data analytics company Inca Digital to jointly advance the issuance of the Wyoming Stablecoin (WYST). The stablecoin is scheduled to be officially launched in July 2025 and will become the first state government-issued fiat-collateralized stablecoin in the United States, pegged 1:1 to the US dollar, with collateral assets including US Treasury bonds, cash, and repurchase agreements.
