Saylor Indicates Potential Bitcoin Acquisition Amidst Soaring BTC Peaks
MSTR Continues Opportunistic Approach Towards Bitcoin Amidst Looming Record Highs
Key Points
- Strategy’s [MSTR] portfolio tracker has made another Bitcoin [BTC] purchase, the second this month.
- This acquisition comes as Bitcoin is potentially preparing for another breakout.
MSTR’s Bitcoin Acquisition
Strategy’s portfolio tracker, MSTR, is once again drawing attention with a second Bitcoin purchase this month. This comes as Bitcoin is potentially gearing up for another breakout.
The recent U.S.-China “breakthrough” trade deal has revitalized risk assets, with equities back in demand. MSTR is strategically positioning itself, evidenced by its latest allocation.
An Opportunistic Move
On the 5th of May, as the focus shifted to the U.S.-U.K. trade agreement, MSTR stepped in, acquiring 1,895 BTC at an average price of $95,167, totaling $180 million.
The impact was immediate. The next day, BTC rose by +2.19%, breaking through the $96k supply shelf and forcing shorts to cover. As of press time, BTC traded at $104k, putting MSTR’s recent entry in profit by +9.77%.
A week later, MSTR made another move. As news of the 90-day tariff relief between the U.S. and China broke, MSTR added another 13,390 BTC for $1.34 billion to its treasury.
Bitcoin’s Macro Playbook
With the 90-day tariff relief set to impact the equity market, macro tailwinds are inbound. MSTR didn’t wait around and its stock broke cleanly above the $400 ceiling, riding Bitcoin’s upside and now eyeing $440 with momentum building.
MSTR’s strategic deployment is compounding returns – both from balance sheet BTC and the broader risk-on rally. This, in turn, is strengthening Bitcoin’s narrative. Every increase in MSTR’s valuation unlocks more potential for future purchases.
As macro FUD fades and liquidity rotates back into risk, it wouldn’t be surprising if MSTR reloads – and Bitcoin anticipates the next move. Bitcoin’s all-time high seems to be a matter of time and market conditions.
