Nyan Heroes, a blockchain game, announces cessation of operations, previously garnered over 250,000 player reservations
According to the official announcement, due to the latest product failing to reach the expected user scale, combined with the current Web3 market environment facing numerous challenges, the blockchain game Nyan Heroes was unable to secure the funding needed to maintain studio operations and ultimately decided to cease operations.
It is reported that Nyan Heroes received over 250,000 player reservations on the Epic and Steam platforms, with four test events attracting over 1 million participants in total. The game frequently appeared on Epic Games' popular and most-played lists and was covered by traditional media such as IGN, Business Insider, and Game Rant. Despite the project team exploring various options such as issuance, new investments, grants, and acquisitions, they ultimately failed to raise the funds necessary to complete the game's development.
