EU Approves 17th Round of Sanctions Against Russia More Sanctions in the Pipeline
The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kallas, stated that the EU has approved the 17th round of sanctions against Russia, targeting nearly 200 shadow fleet vessels. The new sanctions will also address hybrid threats and human rights issues. More sanctions against Russia are in the pipeline. Kallas said, "The longer Russia prolongs the conflict, the tougher our response will be."
