Selected WSJ: Several Major U.S. Banks Exploring Joint Stablecoin Project
According to a report by Jinse Finance, as reported by The Wall Street Journal, major commercial banks such as JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citibank, and Wells Fargo are discussing a joint issuance of stablecoins to address the growing competition in the cryptocurrency industry. The parties involved in the negotiations include Zelle payment system operator Early Warning Services and the real-time payment network Clearing House.
