The rising star of the Farcaster community, is Noice the next Degen?
There is an airdrop, but details have not been disclosed yet
The Farcaster Protocol has recently reached a new high in organic growth, with a flurry of recent activity. Apart from announcing the upcoming launch of the Pro Protocol subscription, as the mobile app is about to be renamed Farcaster, the wallet and Mini App have also officially integrated with Solana.
Behind this growth, BlockBeats has discovered that the Farcaster Protocol's exploration of content tipping and creator incentives has entered a new stage. The following image is a screenshot shared by Farcaster Protocol co-founder Dan from his in-app wallet, showing multiple small transfers received through noice and Tipn, both of which are popular creator tipping tools in the recent Farcaster ecosystem.
One Like, One Cent
Noice is a Mini App built into the Farcaster client, combining product forms from previously validated social products such as Degen, time.fun, and Frien.Tech. It mainly includes the following mechanisms:
First is the tipping mechanism (tips). On a user's timeline, each interaction with others (such as likes, shares, comments) can be accompanied by a tip, currently using USDC, with future support for tipping in any token.
Additionally, any user can request specific forms of interaction from other users, including likes, comments, shares, follows, direct messages, group chats, or even one-on-one calls.
Noice also has a daily incentive section, where the user with the highest tipping amount each day will receive an additional $100 USDC reward, encouraging more interaction and thus "more tips, more earnings."
Users who want to use Noice just need to search for it in the Farcaster Mini Apps market to enter the Noice interface, then set their own tip amount. For example, the image below implies that a user tipping 0.01 USDC will reward the poster for actions like likes, shares, and comments.

At the same time, the Noice team launched the Noice platform token $NOICE on Clanker on May 22. 30% of the token supply is locked for 1 month, with 20% allocated for airdrops and 10% held by the core team. At the time of writing, the market cap of $NOICE reached $9.11 million, with a 93% 24-hour increase.
Noice's official website indicates that $NOICE will undergo an airdrop in one month, with specific details yet to be announced. However, the total airdrop amount will increase based on the real-time usage of the network users, with the current total airdrop amount being $1.8 million.
Dominating the "Base Billboard"
Just two days after its launch, Noice's founder successfully bid multiple times to win the QR code display entrance on the Base ecosystem platform qrcoin.fun. Previously, qrcoin had been retweeted and supported by the Base official account, and the market performance of Noice after its launch also caused a synchronous increase in the qrcoin platform's token $QR.
According to the official website information, Noice will next launch the Creator Tokens module, allowing creators to issue their own tokens. For example, a user @tike can create a personal token named $tk, which will be used when they tip others with $tk. Additionally, whenever anyone requests likes, calls, follows, or comments from @tike, this token will be burned.
In the integration plan with Zora, holding a creator's token (such as $jesse) can earn a 1% stake in their future content token. Furthermore, one can also earn fee revenue from the trading of these tokens.
Noice also plans to introduce tipping and access mechanisms to X, allowing users to directly tip content or purchase interaction rights on the timeline without switching applications, enabling smooth fund flow.
Finally, Noice will integrate with Solana, allowing users on X to tip using any token from the Solana ecosystem and enabling Creator Tokens to be deployed on both the Base and Solana chains to further expand their utility and liquidity.
Noice's mechanism easily evokes thoughts of Farcaster's early social tipping token DEGEN, but due to the changing cryptocurrency market environment, Farcaster's ecosystem's understanding of "social assets" has also evolved. DEGEN is more of a projection of community sentiment and a humorized consensus of value, while $NOICE attempts to introduce a more direct economic incentive structure by explicitly linking interactive behavior with fund flow.
To some extent, it represents an attempt to shift from a "cultural symbol" to a "functional asset." Compared to DEGEN's emotion-driven approach, whether $NOICE can take a more sustainable path remains to be seen. It will depend on whether, beyond the incentive model, it can truly establish a high-frequency interaction scenario and long-term demand.
Today happens to be the day when the world's largest "read-it-later" tool, Pocket, announced its shutdown. In the past, we always saved content of interest one by one, hoping that some "future self" would have time to read it. However, the reality is that most of those saved links have never been opened. We are not lacking time but rather the attention needed to truly focus on them. Farcaster's Tip tool seems to provide us with a new empowering solution.
Following the recent controversy sparked by the Zora airdrop, there are not too many highlights in the Base ecosystem at the moment. However, due to the continuous activity in the Farcaster ecosystem's Mini Apps ecosystem, readers focusing on the Base ecosystem can pay more attention to Farcaster to find alpha opportunities.
Despite the current widespread attention that Noice has attracted within the Farcaster community and demonstrating some user growth potential, it is essential to note that the project is still in its early stages. The tokenomics, governance mechanism, and long-term application scenarios have not yet been fully implemented. The $NOICE token currently relies mainly on short-term activity expectations driven by airdrops. BlockBeats reminds readers to fully assess their risk tolerance before participating in related interactions or token purchases and to be cautious of the structural fluctuations behind the project's hype.
