Litecoin Summit Day 2 Covers Custody, Regulation, & More
The crypto crowd is heading to Las Vegas this week as the Litecoin Summit 2025 gears up for a two-day run on May 29 and 30 at Harrah’s Hotel.
Organized by the Litecoin Foundation, the summit will bring together developers, miners, privacy advocates, and long-time Litecoin supporters to talk about the state of crypto, minus the hype. While Thursday’s agenda (May 29) remains under wraps, Day 2 on Friday, May 30, is already looking packed.
The day kicks off early with coffee and breakfast in the exhibitor area before sessions begin in the Reno Room. From morning until evening, speakers will take the stage to discuss everything from the evolution of money to crypto payments, regulation, self-custody, and the future of proof-of-work networks.
Privacy and regulation are expected to be big talking points this year, along with conversations around real-world adoption—something Litecoin has quietly pushed forward on despite the broader focus on newer chains and trends.
A panel featuring key members of the Litecoin Foundation, including Charlie Lee, will take place later in the day, followed by a round of giveaways and closing remarks.
The event ends with an after-party by the pool at Harrah’s—giving attendees a chance to wind down, connect, and maybe debate which parts of crypto are still worth betting on in 2025.
While it’s not the flashiest summit on the calendar, the Litecoin community has always been more about utility than noise. And in a year defined by shifting regulation and questions around decentralization, the themes here might just be more relevant than ever.
