Netflix to Launch 8-Episode Limited Series "The Altruists" on FTX Scandal

According to a report by Jinse Finance, on May 30, Netflix announced the launch of an 8-episode limited series titled "The Altruists" about the FTX scandal. The series will be produced by Higher Ground, a production company founded by former U.S. President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama. The show tells the story of two young idealists attempting to rapidly reshape the global financial system, ultimately becoming embroiled in a conspiracy to embezzle approximately $8 billion. As a result, FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried was sentenced to 25 years in prison for fraud, and former Alameda Research CEO Caroline Ellison was sentenced to 2 years.
