The Central African Republic to Use Its National Meme Coin CAR for Land Tokenization
According to Decrypt, the President of the Central African Republic, Faustin-Archange Touadéra, announced that starting in June, the national meme coin CAR will be used to tokenize and sell over 1,700 hectares of land online on the Solana chain.
The land is located west of the village of Bossongo, 45 kilometers from the capital Bangui. The presidential decree cited the country's mining and tokenization laws, suggesting that the land may be used for mineral extraction activities such as gold or diamond mining.
