Recent violent kidnapping incidents targeting cryptocurrency holders have prompted insurance companies to expedite the launch of kidnap and ransom (K&R) insurance products specifically designed for digital asset investors. It is reported that companies like AnchorWatch, Relm Insurance, and Hylant Capital are developing customized policies covering kidnapping, extortion, and crisis response. AnchorWatch COO Rebecca Rubenfeld stated that security issues were a focal point for attendees at the Bitcoin conference held in Las Vegas.
