IDF: Struck Iranian Missile Launch Facilities
In a statement released on Sunday morning, the Israel Defense Forces said that Israel’s strike on Iran targeted surface-to-surface missile launchers and other military infrastructure. “Overnight, the IDF identified Iranian missile launchers and carried out strikes. In the past hour, the Israeli Air Force has completed a series of additional strikes on storage and missile launch facilities in western Iran,” the statement said. The Israeli Air Force released video footage purportedly showing strikes on missile launchers, with massive explosions and billowing smoke visible. Earlier, Israel also struck the Iranian Ministry of Defense headquarters in Tehran, as well as an oil depot and a fuel tank near the Iranian capital. Iran has not yet released information regarding casualties from the Israeli overnight airstrikes.
