A Crypto Trader Kidnapped and Assaulted in France, Released After Insufficient Account Balance
A 26-year-old trader was kidnapped by four assailants while returning to his home in Juvisy-sur-Orge, Essonne, Île-de-France, between Friday and Saturday night. The kidnappers forced him into a stolen Clio. According to initial reports, the victim, who has 40,000 followers on TikTok, was beaten after being abducted. The kidnappers demanded €50,000 in cryptocurrency, but after checking his account and finding a much lower balance, they released him, realizing he did not possess the requested amount.
