EU Ready to Conditionally Accept US 10% Unified Tariff
Handelsblatt reported on Monday that Brussels negotiators are hoping to accept a 10% U.S. tariff on all EU exports to the United States, which would help avoid higher tariffs on cars, pharmaceuticals, and electronics. Senior EU negotiators stated that the EU is prepared to reduce tariffs on U.S.-made cars and may also change technical or legal barriers to make it easier for American manufacturers to sell cars in Europe.
