US SEC and Ripple Seek More Time for Settlement, Request Appeals Court to Pause Proceedings
According to defense attorney James Filan, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Ripple Labs are seeking additional time to reach a settlement and have requested the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit to stay the appeal. The SEC will submit a status report by August 15, 2025.
