On June 18 local time, U.S. President Trump commented on the current Israel-Iran conflict, stating that the United States is not seeking a ceasefire, but rather is pursuing “complete victory,” meaning “Iran has no nuclear weapons.” In addition, Trump said that “it is still possible to reach an agreement.” Earlier that day, Trump had already made a series of statements regarding Iran. He said he has not yet decided whether to take military action against Iran. He also mentioned that Iran wants to negotiate and has expressed willingness to come to the White House for talks.
