Bitwise CEO: "Regulatory Uncertainty" Is No Longer the Biggest Obstacle for Bitcoin Investors

Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley stated on the X platform that in the past, "regulatory uncertainty" was the biggest barrier to Bitcoin for investors, but the situation in 2025 is completely different. This is a significant change, though its impact on the market has not yet been fully realized. In addition, there are currently two issues with Bitcoin investment: First, most investors and asset allocators are extremely busy, and with so many opportunities available (including other assets that could potentially increase tenfold), they have little time to focus on Bitcoin. Second, gold is actually one of the least popular investments in the United States, and some family offices do not invest in gold at all, so they also pay little attention to Bitcoin, which is often referred to as "digital gold."
